October turned out to be a productive month for my photography. We went on a 2 week tour of Wyoming (more later) and spent 2 and a half weeks in California. While we spent much of our time rock climbing in areas like Yosemite National Park, South Lake Tahoe, and Bishop, I took some time to take a few photographs.
When hiking back down after climbing the Snake Dike route up Half Dome in Yosemite, we passed Vernal Falls along the Mist Trail. The falls were merely a trickle compared to their torrential Summertime flow. This was one time where I wished I had a wider than 150mm lens for the view camera, as the narrow canyon prevented me from taking a single image of the entire falls. To remedy this, I shot two exposures and blended the resulting film scans in AutopanoPro. More images from California may be seen in my Sierra Nevada Gallery.

Beautiful! Why have I not stopped in Yosemite yet?!
