Winter in Grand Teton National Park
December 12th, 2007The skies have been unusually clear the last few days in north western Wyoming. Clear skies means cold temperatures but it also means a greater chance for a predictable sunrise on the Teton Mountains. The thermometer read 8 degrees below zero, Fahrenheit when I left for the park this morning and there were a few sparse clouds in the sky. I arrived at my destination at the Taggart/Bradley Lakes trailhead, where the Teton Park Road is seasonally closed, just in time and got the 4×5 set up. I managed 6 exposures of the changing light before the sky became overcast. Below is a digital snap:
